Summary

WHGC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join a dynamic team in the Naples, FL area. As a Construction Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for working with the Superintendents, Project Managers and Subcontractors to develop and manage comprehensive construction schedules, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Your expertise and detail in scheduling will be integral to the success of our commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities of Construction Scheduler

  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers and Subcontractors to gather project requirements to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.
  • Utilize industry-leading scheduling software to create and maintain project schedules, incorporating all activities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to accurately sequence construction activities.
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts, delays, and resource constraints, and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular schedule updates and communicate progress to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the integration of subcontractor schedules and material delivery timelines into the master project schedule.
  • Monitor project progress, track changes, and assess the impact on the schedule, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on schedule performance, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Act as a key point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries from project teams and management.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations to optimize project execution.

Qualifications of Construction Scheduler

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Scheduler in commercial construction projects, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate and address scheduling challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with experience scheduling for large scale ground up and renovation work or other larger projects
  • Familiarity with construction industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
